Chief Financial Officer

A corporate officer, responsible for leading all aspects of Accounting and managing the financial risks of the company. This officer is also responsible for financial planning and record-keeping, as well as financial reporting to to higher management. Roles often known as:

Chief Marketing Officer

The Chief Marketing Officer is a corporate executive responsible for marketing activities in an organization. Most often the position reports to the Chief Executive Officer. The CMO is also considered the ‘Chief Influence Officer’ of the company bringing the company to gether as one voice.

The CMO will lead the Brands, Marketing Communications and Research, Sales Management, Product, Pricing, and Customer Service. Roles also often known as:

Chief Executive Officer

Chief Operations Officer

The COO is a position that can be one of the highest-ranking executive positions in an organisation, comprising part of the leadership team. The COO is responsible for the daily operation of the business and routinely reports to the highest ranking executive, usually the CEO.

CxO – Chief ‘x’ Officer

A ‘CxO’ (Chief ‘x’Officer), is often also referred to a being part of the ‘C-Suite’ or Chief Suite within an organisation. CxO is a generic term for any Corporate Officer within a business.

The ‘x’ of CxO is considered a placeholder, which should be replaced by a reference to the officer’s specific experience and capability, and ultimately defining thier psotion amongst the leadership team of the company.
